Achievement: 17 May, 1962: Shirley's founded a Women dominant software development program in the 60's, changed her name to "Steve" in hopes to receiving replies back from her marketing emails.


Other: Stephanie Shirley escaped from the nazis as a young child. She founded her own software development company, and when her emails were ignored, her husband suggested using the family name of "Steve" in her emails. Suddenly, she began to get replies. Additionally, her company employed mostly women, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and gave women more opportunities.
