* Write an article which addresses the assertion "The Primary Role of Technology is to Improve Humanity"
* The article must be between 2,000 and 3,000 words  
** Include at least three (each) of '''pros''' and '''cons''' related to the pervasiveness of technology and its impact on humanity
* It must include at least five references to other ''online'' resources
* The article must be between 2,000 and 3,000 words in English
* It must include at least five references to ''online'' resources.  Be sure to include each reference in a bibliography.

Eligibility[edit]

  • You must be a currently enrolled high-school student (grade 9, 10, 11, or 12) at a bona-fide high school
    • You must have a school email address provided by your school using the same domain as your high school
    • We must be able to verify both your email address and the web site of your high school
  • Entering this contest constitutes agreement to having your name and essay published on  Coder Merlin™ 's website.  Coder Merlin™  reserves the right to make minor edits to essays before publication on our website.

Prizes[edit]

  • The prize for first place is $250.00 (two hundred and fifty USD)
  • Prizes will be paid via Paypal 2014 logo.png so you must have a PayPal account

Specific Contest Rules[edit]

  • Write an article which addresses the assertion "The Primary Role of Technology is to Improve Humanity"
    • Include at least three (each) of pros and cons related to the pervasiveness of technology and its impact on humanity
  • The article must be between 2,000 and 3,000 words in English
  • It must include at least five references to online resources. Be sure to include each reference in a bibliography.
  • You must submit your essay in a PDF by emailing to contests@codermerlin.com. All wiki rules apply.
